Pavers are one of the u.k.’s largest independent shoe retailers with shops throughout the U.K. additionally they sell through the largest on line shoe store in Europe. To facilitate their growth plans Pavers have invested in a new purpose built 33,000sq ft warehouse in York.

Pavers were an existing customer of WSL and were asked to assist in the design of the new warehouse. Naturally other storage equipment providers were asked to submit designs and prices, but WSL won the business through offering innovative and thoughtful solutions to Paver’s requirements, based upon no of SKU’s, picking profiles, and stock turn round.

The design comprises of a 2 tier shelving system, 2 tier mezzanine floor, and stairways.

Work commenced at the end of July and will be complete by the second week in September, and Pavers will not need a shoe horn to squeeze products into the warehouse any more
