The Elite Group is an independent group of companies specialising in the Import and Export of garments and other merchandise. The group have significant distribution warehouses throughout the U.K. offering dedicated and shared user services. 

 Work has finally started on a 3 tier mezzanine floor at the new Elite Group warehouse in Wortley Leeds. The floors will be fitted out with racking and shelving systems to accommodate existing and new customer demands. The contract value is in excess of £1 millon

The 90,000 sq ft warehouse is nearing completion and WSL have already started to erect the mezzanine floor. Completion is required as soon as practically possible and WSL have brought lead times forward, provided additional installation resources, and extended working hours to meet the necessary deadlines.

The project is being managed by a small team from WSL, bringing together the required skill sets to bring the contract in, safely, on time and under budget. Few companies in the industry would have the resources “in house” to achieve this.

Prior to this the team have designed, drawn, procured and arranged fabrication of all steel and materials required

WSL’s major mezzanine floor and shelving project at Elite Group in Leeds is nearing completion, with product already being stored on completed levels. This already large floor was extended half way through build when the customer obtained additional business, requiring additional space. This has meant adding an additional bay around the entire floor. WSL managed to design, fabricate and build the extension within the customer’s very tight timescale.

The excellent relationship between customer and supplier is evident as both sides and their respective project managers are working hard to achieve the build with a minimum of disruption to the business, and yet maintaining the required Health and Safety disciplines.
