Go outdoors are one of the U.K’s leading retailers of camping and outdoor equipment. Continued expansion has resulted in them requiring additional floor space. This is being provided by installation of Mezzanine floors in various stores across the country.

Warehouse Systems were approached by Go Outdoors and asked to quote for the installation of a floor at their new store in Cheadle, Cheshire.

We designed a floor that met the customer’s requirements and suggested an improved handrail design which allowed products to be displayed on infill panels within the handrail.

We won the contract due to our innovative design and ability to reduce lead and build times.

We designed a feature wooden clad double staircase as a focal point in the centre of the floor.

The floor allowed the display of the largest indoor tent display in the north of England.

The floor was to be built as part of a major reconstruction project undertaken on behalf of Go Outdoors by Hillside Construction Ltd. We liaised with Hillside throughout the project, working within the usual CDM Regs Health and Safety requirements throughout the build.

Our project and installation team managers had to work closely with other trades on the site to ensure all their activities dovetailed together, avoiding delays and additional cost

We manufactured and installed the floor on time and to the customer’s complete satisfaction, and now look forward to working with Go Outdoors on their other expansion projects in the future.
