WSL Adopt a " Uniform" Approach

Turner Virr are the UK’s leading provider of work wear and uniforms. Increased business has resulted in them investing in a purpose built 2500 sq m warehouse at Garforth near Leeds.

Turner Virr were aware that WSL had a wide range of experience in providing storage solutions to the garment industry, and approached us to see what we could deliver.

Adam Jagger one of WSL’s sale people designed a system able to cope with Turner Virr’s requirements.

This solution involved installation of a single tier 1900 sq m mezzanine floor with a mixture of garment hanging and shelving.

WSL also designed and quoted lighting, sprinkler systems and fire cladding for the project, enabling all work to be undertaken by one principal contractor. With sub contractors employed directly by WSL, this allowed total control of the build project, including supervision under Construction and Design Regulations, which WSL took responsibility for.

The total build period was scheduled for 8 weeks and we will finish by the end of February, on time and on budget.

The project has been managed by Paul Harding one of our experienced project managers, so it is not surprising that we are looking to successful completion and a satisfied client .
