With Mobile Racking the pallet racks are mounted on mobile bases, these travel on tracks laid into the floor.
The racking can be moved as individual aisles or as entire sections, giving individual access to all pallets. Depending on the throughput, this system can be the most effective use of space.
Mobile Racking systems are particularly effective in Cold Stores and where space is at a premium and manual picking from pallets is not a major concern. Properly configures, through high throughputs can be achieved by matching the number of aisles to the number of trucks.
